Angel Season 6 Comic **Spoilers**
So I bought the Angel season 6 comic...and i must say im very disappointed. I actually SKIMMED it!!! L.A Is in hell...and their are lords that call themselves like The Lord of south La...and others... The dragon..... well that had to be the LAMEST thing ever... Oh he was misguided like meee....so its tamed... Im going to buy book 2 to have spike on it...but i dont think i wanna keep getting them. It was a HUGE disappointment for me. Anyone else get it?

Wow, really...I LOVED it, I can't wait for more. I actually think I might have liked it better than Buffy's first issue. The dragon was def. lame, but overall I'm really interested in how the whole situation is going to end up and how it got that way. One thing I don't like about the comics though...and this if for both Buffy and Angel is, just because there are no budget restraints, doesn't mean you should go outside of what the show had. I mean to the extent of just because you don't have to worry about making a CG dragon look real or worry about cost doesn't mean it should become a main character (which I hope to God it doesn't, especially since it's always been assumed and I think Joss said it too that that's supposed to be the dragon from The Gift) same with the giant demons and Dawn...I think Joss should think about the comics as though he were still on a TV budget, maybe with a few exceptions. I dont' know does this make sense?? I just don't think there should suddenly be giants all over since they were rarely seem on Angel and I don't think we ever (except for the dragon) saw giant demons on Buffy. I wasn't surprised by seeing that Gunn was a vamp, since that spoiler leaked a year ago or something, and I already know what's going to happen with that (unless Joss changes it which I hope he does...I think we discussed this before, but I don't want to get ahead of the current issue).

I really liked it was well. LA in hell? Sweet! Though it doesn't substitute for an Angel feature film, I'll take it.

I liked issue two also, and there was nice twist at the end. I'm not sure how I feel about the whole Gunn storyline right now though. And they need to get rid of the dragon from the story.

The only thing I didn't like was Wesley coming back because of the contract with W&H. Would Angel REALLY have signed anything that would sell his soul to W&H? I don't think so. That would be REALLY out of character. Did I interpret that wrong?

idk. But i didnt like the whole girls all over spike LOL he is my man LOL. But I absolutely hate the art. It sucks. I far much prefer the buffy art by far

Well I think that maybe Angel didn't really read the contract, and his main concern was helping Connor as soon as possible. He may have also assumed like Wesley in Home, that if needed he could destroy the contract and it would free them.
