SEASON 8 SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Um... I forget on what thread it was argued about how lame it would be to have Warren come back well.. *snort* Lookie lookie. We also know Kennedy died and came back. So we have two dead people return, both central to a Willow story line and excessively pissing off those who want Tara back, so I'm thinking it's a high likelihood now.

Wow, you are brilliant aren't you. You were able to guess that they would use the most over-used plot device they had in the show and ,coincidentally, the most over-used plot device in comic history.
Bravo.
If you recall I never said the wouldn't use it, I said in my opinion it was lame and they shouldn't use it.
And my opinion still stands, they used it and it's lame.
Snide remarkes aside, yet another character brought back from the dead,. Great.
I'm rapidly loosing interest in buffy Comic seeing that they are using the same plot device yet again and don't seem to have anything new to offer.

Rick, you're being very unpleasant. Everything is a plot device. Whether it's bringing someone back from the dead, a kiss, someone walking in at the wrong time, as the name suggests its a device which moves the plot along. It's how each device is used that makes it special and unique which Joss is an expert at.

Ya but again, we have said it again and again, which you dont seem to get for some reason. When something is repeated over and over again it isnt exciting. A kiss isnt something he had done before. SO yay Joss. But he brought back someone AGAIN, im a little upset by it, cuz like really? OO someone else is back from the dead YAY for them. I love buffy very much, but to have to read about people commin back from the dead for the 100th time is reallllly over done. Why not bring back Joyce and all the dead potentials, oh and the mayer, annnnd oh Ayna. Lets just bring back everyone, cuz someone dieing isnt really important antymore.

Yah, and your post wasn't exactly pleasant either, sort of stank of "lookit I was right, in your face" kind of attitude.
Yah, anything can be a plot device, major or minor, and I'm well aware of what it does.
But if the plot device (especially major) is ALWAYS a kiss it becomes lame, if a plot device is ALWAYS walking in at the wrong time it becomes lame.
Over use of ANYTHING in a story, whether it's comics, movies or t.v., takes away from the impact it'll have if used over and over again. It becomes tired, predictable and ultimately lame.

We don't actually know that he's been brought back...who knows what's really going on yet!!

Dosnt matter if he is quote unquote, "broght back" the fact is that he is BACK. And having him "back" is antoher form of bringing back a charater that was killed. I wish it was something better.
On a side note, the comic is really good, even my comic guy said he dosent like buffy but the comic is good

Very true lol!!!!!

I'm just saying that the concept of bringing a character back is a template, a base, a coloring book page. It's what is done with it that makes it interesting.
And I'm agreeing that the comic is very good. I love the juiced up feel to it all.
Ok seriously. anyone skined would be dead..... duh. You cant live that. And if the comic is going this way...they need better writers

SO! I was reading the "Slay the critics" part at the back of the first Faith comic and i read something VERY interesting. A girl named Kaylee Pansieri from Montreal wrote
"I just had a general kind of question/statement. It might have been already clarified, but I didn't pick up on it , but I thought I would mention it anyways. In season seven of Buffy, the First takes the form of Warren to trick Andrew, and the First can only take form of someone who has died. We all assumed he's back saying that he was NEVER dead. Was the first able to take over his body because everyone thought he was dead? Or....? "
NOW Joss himself replied to this letter. AND I quote
"He was legally dead for like a second. Amy didn't tell him 'cause she didn't want to upset him. I forgot, okay?!"
Now Joss has admitted he was legally dead. Again they used the same plot device AGAIN. booorrrrinnnggggggg.

LOL, I saw that letter...I can't believe I didn't catch that mistake on Joss' part.
