That's funny!! I've never seen Rent, but I've seen the posters like that before.

I'm workin on a few buffy music videos to RENT songs. I saw one, poorly edited, to the song "Light My Candle" which is a duet between Roger and Mimi, and it was focusing on Spike and Buffy. found it amusing that this poster cast them the same way.
