Buffy Between the Lines- Season 1 Major Episodes
Episode 1 - Beginning at the End - by Tabitha Grace Smith
Buffy is dead, the Scoobies are reeling from the battle with Glory and the fact that their beloved friend and fearless leader is gone is sinking in. Meanwhile, Doc re-appears at the end of the funeral and continues to make trouble.
(Tulip says: I cried so many times during this episode... really hearbreaking, and it still manages to be funny. Not our best one, but it's the first, bound to be a bit shaky.)
Episode 2 - Requiem for a Demon - Paula Rada & Gwendolyn Jensen-Woodard
Willow goes to LA to visit Angel and deliver the awful news of Buffy’s death. Back in Sunnydale, girls are being killed one by one from Tara’s choir. While Willow helps the Angel Investigation team fight a strange demon, Tara and the rest of the Scoobies are determined to find out the reason behind the unusual deaths.
(Tulip says: This is my favorite episode. I've listened to it over and over again. Tara-centric which is also a plus, I'm so glad to be friends with Cliss who plays her. It feels very much like your typical episode of Buffy. I adore Candyce Wells, too. Plus the L.A. scenes make me too happy. Some of the casting for the smaller parts really amaze me- Fred, Cordy, Angel and Wes are amazing.)
Episode 3- Never Go up Against a Sorcerer When Death is on the Line- by Gwendolyn Jensen-Woodard
Javert calls on an old friend of the scoobies to stir up trouble. Meanwhile Giles is hit hard by Buffy’s death and his inability to save her. We also get a sneak peek into what pulled three of the grea-*test*-('") criminal minds together.
(Tulip Says: Lots of great voice talent in here, Ethan, D'Hoffryn, and Joyce are all a pleasure to hear. This episode is spectacularly Buffy-like in every way, something you really could imagine as part of the show.)
Episode 4- Ctrl + Alt + Dlt - by Emma Rawlin and Tabitha Grace Smith
BuffyBot takes her own personal look at our favorite characters and tries to fit into the Sunnydale world. Meanwhile Javert recruits some new help to continue his plans. The scoobies face one of their first challenges in taking care of Dawn and Spike faces some of his personal emotions regarding the loss of Buffy.
(Tulip Says: A wonderful look at the story from the point of view of the Buffybot. I actually teared up a little bit at this one. Kim is amazing as the B.B.)
Episode 5- She's More Than That - by Emma Rawlin
Spike continues to struggle to fit in with the Scoobies while the Scoobies attempt to fool Social Services and Javert moves closer to his goal.
(Tulip Says: Round one with Social Services sets us up for Gone, not my favorite of episodes but not a bad one by any means. Plus much adoration of Emma, with whom I wrote Season 2 Episode 3 Green is the New Black.)
Episode 6 - Followed Footsteps - by Emma Rawlin
Javert’s back story and plans are revealed to the Scoobies, who realize far too late the threat he truly poses to them. Meanwhile, things become strained between Spike and the gang.
(Tulip Says: Excuse me while I go sob in a corner over here. This episode was so well crafted and perfectly timed and gives us a reason why we truly need to bring Buffy back rather than just wanting her back.)
Episode 7 - Fractures, Frogs, and Fuzzy Sweaters - by Ryan Bovay
Willow is coping with her new leadership role. The trio unleashes powerful magic into Sunnydale and Willow must face her worst fears to deal with it.
(Tulip Says: I haven't actually listened to this one yet, I'm saving it for the car trip I have to take, but I can say from the few scenes that I directed for this one that it is very well done. There's one comedic scene between Willow and Anya that Mad and Tabz performed so well that I was falling off my seat. Also Mad and Cliss have phenomenal Willow/Tara chemistry.)

Halloween Minisode- Board to Death- by Rachel Ruzzo
Stepping back in time Buffy Between the Lines brings you a special minisode (mini episode) that takes place between Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 5 episodes “No Place Like Home” and “Family”. While the Scoobies hang watching Halloween movies Dawn joins her friends Janice and Melinda at a Halloween party. Leave it to Dawn to make the party an extra special guest.
(Tulip says: Dawn and oiuja boards? TC Fans will know never a good thing Written by me. YIKES!!!!!)
Thanksgiving Minisode- Reason to be Thankful- by Tabitha Grace Smith
On a nightly patrol the scoobies get stuck and wander down memory lane. Beware of Regweligans.
(Tulip Says: short, sweet, to the point. Adorable.)
Christmas Minisode- A Winter's Tale - by Kim Butler
The scoobies help Dawn with her schedule and Giles takes the opportunity to share a special Christmas tale with the gang.
(Tulip Says: So cute, plus Elanor Edwards (Daughter of Nick Edwards (Spike)) is adorable as Lyra)
Minisode- What Happened to Angel? - by Tabitha Grace Smith
Angel reflects on the loss of his love.
(Tulip Says: I sobbed during this one, just... you know, being the Bangel shipper that I am, but this was well done and Clay rocks the part of Angel. Also the intro is by Felicia Day who was Vi... hehe we actually got a hold of one of the original BTVS actors at the ME Day Rally)
Valentines Minisode- Valentines Day: Vengeance Style - by Tabitha Grace Smith
What’s Valentine’s Day with out some violence? Dawn and Spike stumble across Anya’s memoirs while reading the Watcher Diaries.
(Tulip Says: I'm Anti-Valentines so this was right up my alley. Bring on Anyanka!)
