hey!!!! congrats on goin to college!!! i still got like 4 years to go till college but when i go i might major in theartre(to be an actor) or in spanish (to become a spanish teacher)

Thanks. I took Spanish all through high school, but wasn't confident enough to continue in college. I can't stand being on stage, so I'd never do theatre lol.

Wow, I certainly haven't been here in awhile. But yeah, like you I started college this year too Steve, RPI in NY. I just had finals week...I took an early bird exam so I wouldn't have to stay a whole week doing nothing...basically I had to take 2 finals, we had a final project for the other class and the last one was an optional final. Courses I took were Intro to Communication Theory Intro to Computer Programming Calc I Media Studio: Imaging Comm theory and Programming were the finals I had to take but comm theory decided to randomly put the final like the week BEFORE finals week...and the programming final was the last day of finals (which was today) so I took the final last thursday instead and went home sunday. My major is called Electronic Media, Arts, and Communication or EMAC...it's kind of like graphic design...I want to do computer animation. next semester I'm taking: Intro to Visual Communications Comp Sci I Contemporary Math Ideas General Psychology Media Studio: Video/Audio and man, my mondays and thursdays are going to be suicide days. Activities I'm doing are Equestrian Team, and RPI Players, the acting group. I auditioned for the short plays that are going to be put on in Feb. and I got the lead role in one of them! It was written by one of the players about an Italian Catholic girl (me) who brings home her Jewish fiancee...it's really funny...the fiancee thinks her dad's in the mafia, the grandfather thinks he was in all the mobster movies....it's great. So yeah, that's me being excited. Oh hey Steve, do you have a facebook? Kids here are like obsessed with facebook, we're facebook whores. If you do we could be friends on facebook and stuff...friends are awesome

I'm majoring in graphic design, so two of my classes had final projects, then I had two classes with -*test*-('")s, and for english a 10 page paper which I wrote about Buffy :) My schedule is really bad next semester too. I waited to long to schedule classes, so I got lousy times. On tues. and thurs. I'm there from 9-6:30 :( (BTW, nice to see you on here again :))

hey kaylynn! sounds like your having a ball in college :) and your major sounds alot like mine :) im going for Digital Media, though i dont start till Sept (still trying to graduate hs first lol) BAHH im so excited! i just filled out my housing application and got to do the famous room mate personality quiz :D its quite the milestone in my life :P

Good luck with that...hope you get someone good. I'm living at home during college...def. don't want to stay in the dorms.

theres no way i could live at home, im close enough to commute but im such a baby, if i got leave ill never grow up lol

yeah, living at home allows me to rely on my parents a lot lol. I don't need to do laudry or cook or anything so it's nice. I try to help out around the house though.

I just started uni this year too - doing Law and Arts In Communication: Writing and Contemporary Culture. Haven't started Law yet, but Arts is alright. I have no exams! :D

wow that sounds like an awsome major! buffy fans are always so unique :) so many people in the online community gave gone into some form of the arts

/\ I def. agree many of the Buffy fans I know online are going into the arts in some way. I guess that's why we understand Buffy, because we are all creative genius' ourselves lol (well maybe not me lol).

Really? I think it's kinda the other way around for me. I went into Arts probably because of Buffy, which made me really grow to have a love for good writing and storytelling, which is why I'm doing Writing and Contemporary Culture now I guess. :D
