Crazy Chapstick Argument
Ok, Me and my friend Kat are having a argument about which brand is the better chapstick. And I'm not talking about the lip smakers, or those fruity chapsticks. Were arguing about the ones you use to actually help heal really bad chapped lips.... For Example like Carmex, Cocoa Butter, Bees Wax, Naturals, or some other medicated or healing chapstick. I say Carmex because it's medicated and actually helps, she doesn't like it because it tastes bad to her apparently. She says Cocoa Butter but I don't think it actually heals, for me it just rejuvinates the skin, but doens't change the fact that its dead just makes the skin look like its alive so you still feel chaped and bite off dead skin strips every once in awile. Its annoying to me. Soooo I'm bringing this silly argument to this forum. Which chapstick do you think works best?

Well being a guy I've never used the fruity flavored ones lol, but anyway...I actually bought this chapstick from Walgreens because my lips get horrible in the winter. It seems to work really well!!! I know cocoa butter is good for scars...when my sister had heart surgery when she was first born, the doctors told her to rub cocoa butter on it to help it to heal faster, and it also helps reduce the amount of scaring a bit.

My lips are chapped most of the time. :( I have a bad habit of licking/biting my lips. Haven't heard of any of the ones you've listed - I use Nivea. I might look up that cocoa butter one you mention, Steve! I have a scar on my lip that's quite....odd - its like Queen Amidala (from Star Wars) in episode one, with that line down her bottom lip! Except much lighter of course. ^^"

yeah, it works really well...I mean obviously my sister still has the scar, it was surgery, but it helped a lot. Another good thing to try is vitamin e. If you have the capsules, just cut them open, and rub them on the scar, or wound. I too have a bad habit of biting my lips, especially when I'm bored or nervous.
