Does this make sense??
I posted two new things in my "You Have Too Many Thoughts Section", and was wondering if they made sense?? Well I didn't know what was gonna happen... "And we're sure they're connected the singing and dancing, and burning and dying". Well we find out that the above are all connected, because of Sweet the demon summoned by, XANDER. No one ever really yelled at Xander, and he never really felt any remorse (as far as we can tell anyway) for summonning this demon which led to the death of at least one person, and probably more, and almost Buffy. Don't you think he needs to search for a little redemption :)?? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Shanshu Prophecy Doesn't Matter?? Angel says in season 5 that the Shanshu Prophecy doesn't matter, because no matter how much good he does, even if he turns human, he's going to Hell (and Spike too for that matter). This doesn't really make sense though. In Buffy right away in "The Harvest", Giles says, "You listen to me! Jesse is dead! You have to remember that when you see him, you're not looking at your friend. You're looking at the thing that killed him". This isn't the only time though, that it's said that a vampire and the victim are completely different people. The vampire just "sets up shop" in the body of the person who has been sired, it has that's person's memories and walks and talks like them, but is not them. Not only this, Angelus has been described as being the demon in Angel. The point I'm trying to make is that all the bad Angelus and Spike (non-soul Spike) have done has nothing to do with Angel and Spike (with a soul), because it was the demons in them that committed those evil acts. The soul is what allows a person the ability to choose and is also essentially who a person is (according to Spike the body is "just the tip of the theological" followed by Angel saying it's the soul that matters). Another example is the fact that Willow is trying to bring Buffy's soul or essence back from the Hell dimension she thinks Buffy is in after she died in "The Gift". Without the soul it's just Buffy's body, with the soul, it's Buffy again. Angel and Liem are the same person because it's the soul that makes them who they are, and Angelus is the demon Angel's body without a soul. In "Spin the Bottle", all the characters believe they are teenagers, and Angel says he is Liem, because that's who he was when he was a teenager and obviously he had a soul supporting the fact that Angel and Liem are the same soul.
