Drive I didn't catch the second episode, but I did catch the first. It's definately intriguing and would give me something to watch on Sundays prior to Desperate Housewives.
The show starts off interestingly. A Man (Nathan Fillion) is being interogatted by police about his missing wife because while all evidence points to kidnapped, the bedroom makes things appear as though she packed. He finds her aniversary present to him on the floor.
(Note! Photographs of his wife, plus the fact that she is credited in the second episode which I missed, tells us that Amy Acker plays his wife. I don't know why that's funny.)
A woman is brought into the hospital, having a baby. We don't see what happens to her or the baby, but we do see her later holding a bundle, telling the nurses she doesn't want to return home and seems very afraid of her husband, and she recieves a large fruit basket.
A man is released from prison, and in his belongings is a cell phone he has never seen before. He calls his father whom he has not spoken to in years, assuming the phone is from him and in that call finds out he has a half brother.
Simultaneously there is a ringin from the present, the basket, and the phone. All three recieve a very coersive message to get in their cars and head to Key West, Florida within the next 15 minutes and not to tell a soul what they are doing. It's the first step on an illegal, under ground, cross country road race. The prize is $32 million dollars, but it seems like there is a lot more at stake than just that money.
Just from what I saw in the first episode, a lot of things tend to come out left field. It wasn't boring by any means, but I can't tell if I like it or not, and I kinda want to watch just to see where it goes. I could live without seeing it ever again, but I dunno.
Anyone else watch the premiere?

I was going to watch this, to support Nathan Fillion and Amy Acker, but decided I always have to much homework over the weekend (plus work work) so I didn't want to start another show. Then I found out it was on on Mondays, but I think it's on at the same time as Heroes, which is probably a death sentence for Drive. I hope it has lots of success though, for those two actors.

From what I hear, Fox already cancelled Drive after 4 eps. Sucks since everyone whos watched it liked it.

I had a feeling it wouldn't live long. Oh well
