embarrassing buffy horror story
ive been found out. one of the boys in my video production (where i am the sad outcast in a class of jocks and cheerleaders) found my website. irrelevant party, Mr Ketsech, told me today he liked my videos and i was like "huhwha?...... my BUFFY videos!!!!!!?????" he starts craking up, im crying (literally), and now im horrified. im proud of my site and my vids (im banking on them being awed by my masterness) but its something i ween people into lol PLUS these are the same people who i am NOT friends with, who DO torchure people as a sign of affection, and WILL use this against me. omg. they were all in there after school downloading my vids and god knows they must have been getting a kick out of jessie and her buffy fanatisism. *ahhhhhhh* not to mention showing random passerbys. i can not go in there tomorrow. either they make a big fuss about it and i die. or they all stare at me in the 'i know something you dont know' way but ill be cowering in the 'i know the thing that you know that you think i dont know' way. ahhhhhhhh i cant believe this. its almost funny, but HORRIFYING console me!

How did they figure out it was yours?? Maybe one of them is a Buffy fan and were searching for Buffy sites, and thats how they found it. I wish I knew what to tell you...while I was reading this I felt so bad _sad_, because I know I'd feel the same way. If any of them approach you and ask you about it, just kind of shrug it off and say "Yep that's my stuff, it's just a hobby" Or something don't let them see that it bothers you that they know. If they ask why you like it, let them know that there's a lot more meaning to it than just a girl killing demons. That usually makes them see that it's not ridiculous like they assume because of the shows name. I know what you mean though that you have to ween people into it, often I tell people right away others I have to kind of wait and get to know them before I say anything.

thanks steve, yeah im gonna play it cool. i know they arent gonna be mean about it, they kind of use torture as a way for showing they accept you :P but i dont like being put on the spot, ya know? im gonna think of some acceptable things i can say, and hopefully i can play it off pretty well :P i just hope to god they dont play a prank on me when i go on air tomorrow haha they always do some sort of trick, the last thing i need is them greenscreening sarah michelle geller into my background haha

so good news everyone :) i kinda over reacted lol see, the downloaded Whatsername, which is my original music video. kyle really liked it, he showed wilson, he really liked it, and i got promoted to Co-Director of the Video Yearbook haha go figure! the buffy vids didnt go unnoticed, but kyle made me feel better: me: so are you totally traumatized by my geekdom? kyle: let me tell you a secret......... im captain of the debate team <3 so yeah, thats my story lol but another weird thing, i ended up talking to kyle until 1am that night, and he was all 'so are you free this weekend?' and i was like 'well i wasnt expecting that' hahaha but i didnt say that :P the world works in mysterious ways, kiddos :P

Lol - glad this situation turned out alright for you! :) I would have totally freaked out myself if that happened to me too - don't know if it would have turned out as well as you. :roll: So Kyle is the guy who found your site? Maybe we're all geeks at heart. :wink: Congrats on the promotion!

That's great that everything worked out okay!!!!! BTW, I was thinking about it, but pretty much everyone in my high school knew I was a Buffy fan...I'll post it in "Do they Know?" under Bite Me.
