Flooded
I was watching the season 6 ep. Flooded today, and something drove me nuts. Buffy spends a lot of the ep. saying that she's broke, and Willow and Tara pretty much just say "Buffy you're broke, what are you going to do about it?" I mean shouldn't they have been helping Buffy pay the bills, at least for food, clothing, and maybe even a little rent. I know neither of them have jobs, but Buffy's broke too, so if they are going to live there they should have helped her.

Yeah, that occurred to me too - though I never really thought much of it. You'd think that post-Buffy's death, either Willow/Tara would have gotten a job - now that they were staying in the house and were basically the only adults of that household. Lol, maybe the Buffy-bot got a job...?

Lol...maybe Buffy-Bot did? And thats a good point, I know Willow and Tara are students, so maybe they have loans and grants,but that wouldn;t cover everything. They would still need a job to cover everything else. Why does Buffy have to get the job and/or the loan?

Ya i never thought about that before either. Maybe Giles helped out with the bills, and Xander had a job so perhaps he was helping out as well?

Maybe...I mean, didn't Giles give Buffy a cheque at some point?

Ya later on. He WAS around when she was dead, then the day they bring her back he leaves. You would think he would help out durring all that time?

He probably did. Plus, he probably has a lot of money being paid by the Watcher's Council!

Hmm, I never really thought that maybe Giles had helped during the summer. I think the check Giles gave to Buffy was for $10,000 they showed it in Buffy magazine because they were auctioning it off for charity. But anyway Buffy was covered for a while after that.

But i still think Willow and Tara should have had a job, since Xander and Giles did. They should have contributed.
