Hey Everyone
Hey, well my real name is Steff but probably more known to my friends as Gnome (when you've been in the middle of nowhere for 4 days, just been walking up and down mountains, you can go a bit crazy, lol). On that note, do a lot of Outdoor Pursuits such as bouldering, climbing, abseiling, boulder hopping, hiking etc. I also like to play Netball and Rounders. Love listening to music (and singing badly to it) when I'm suppose to be doing important school work for school (last year before University in September - Argh!). Also, have a cat called Mouse (love her to bits - she's crazy to, wonder where she gets that from? lol) So, thats me everyone P.S - I sometimes have a tendency to ramble, lol

Thanks everyone for such a warm welcome - will have lots of fun. To answer Slaygal's questions: Boulder hopping is where you are in a stream or a river that has boulders in it and the aim is to travel along the stream or river just stepping (or sometimes even jumping) from one boulder to the other without falling in - or fallen trees if they are in the way. Not allowed to get onto the stream banks or anything like that. Seen many people fall in and come out completely wet, fallen in myself quite a few times but its all in the name of fun!

those are some really neat hobbies! is it just casual, like something you do with friends, or is it an official sport?

Climbing is an official sport and I participayed in the school team one year in which we came first place. But now, its just more of a casual thing with friends and quite a laugh to.

My friends are so boring we never do anything like that lol...not that I'm athletic or anything lol.

Lol, I do quite a few sports but there easier to get to, as I know friends who live in areas that have rivers, rocks etc, so I just go to there houses and drag them along.

LOL that's so funny. I don't know anyone who lives by any rocks or rivers.

Loads where I live - if you know where to look. However, if you fall in a river or a stream, you have to walk home like that, lol
