My rabbit is literally being eaten alive by maggots. We have a friend whose a vet taking care of her and giving her medicine but it doesn't look good. She's cleaning them all off and shaving Buffy (yes that's my rabbits name lol), but they've gotten a lot of her backside, and she's very sore, and not eating or drinking much. Apparently this isn't as uncommon as you would think though.

I know a lot of people with rabbits called Buffy, lol. Anyways, thats very sad to hear Steve and its not that uncommon as it happened to one of my friend's rabbits (he had 2 rabbits, one was called Buffy but the 1 with the maggots was called Domino) and he died. I hope it doesn't come to that with your rabbit, Steve. Best wishes

I'm soo sorry Steve. :cry: I know exactly what you are going through at the mo. At least Buffy isn't in pain anymore. She'll be up there bouncing around with all the other bunnies having the time of her life. I'll be thinking of you.

Thats sad to hear Steve, at least she's no longer in pain now. My thoughts are with you

awww *hugs* Its ok steve. I know how you feel, there is no way i would be ok with one of my kitty babies if they were sick. ESPECIALLY Willow she is my life *hugs hugs hugs*
