I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer So apparently they are making another movie for the I Know What You Did Last Summer series. Sounds like it's going to have the same plot as the first one for the most part. I got this through Slayerverse news group.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer, the third chapter of the non-stop slasher thriller I Know What You Did Last Summer, on DVD August 1st. Directed by Sylvain White (North Hills), the film stars Hollywood's newest "up & comers" including David Paetkau (Final Destination 2), K. C. Clyde (Friends With Money), Torrey DeVitto (TV's "Beautiful People") and Ben Easter (Pearl Harbor). In this horrifying sequel, the legend has been passed on to another set of friends in Broken Ridge, Colorado, where a seemingly harmless prank goes unexpectedly wrong and leads to an accidental death that will haunt this group longer than they think.
In I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer, a group of teens accidentally kill a fellow friend as a result of what was supposed to be a seemingly harmless 4th of July prank. As part of a desperate cover-up the friends band together and form a pact, deciding to take their secret to the grave. Little do they know that they really will be taking their secret quite literally to the grave as one year later their secret comes back for revenge. Can they figure out who's killing them off one-by-one or will they be able to bury their secret forever? I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer has a run time of 92 minutes and is rated R.
In addition to the DVD release of I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer, SPHE will also release a Collector's box set of all three films from the horror franchise, which includes this new film as well as the original two films:

Oh, the first movie is great it's got the best cast and the second one was not bad either. You really have to like the cast I think though, cause the story is like any other!

I like the first two also, and have them both on DVD. I kind of agree with you though, at least for the second one...you have to like the cast to really like the movie. I don't know if I'll see the third one or not, maybe just to say I've seen it.

I love the first two (the first more than the second thought)
I have seen the 3rd film and well..... its pretty bad! They have ruined the whole series with it. Yes they may have kept some things from the first two but its just not the same..... Just like the Urban legends films. Loved the first - second was poor and although i enjoyed the third they still changed too much for it to fit into the same series
Ok enough from me on this

Yeah, I said I was going to see it, but I'm not so sure it's worth the time.

I've seen the first two, and I only really enjoyed the first - great cast and a good plot, but the second just bored me to death (lol).
Cannot believe they are bringing out another one
