What are they about??? I'm still working on the Gatekeeper Trilogy...stupid school work!!

five_by_five- 12-15-2005

it sounds lame but you have to read it, it's about this father who never reads to his child outloud. You find out in the book why, characters come out of the book but in return something or someone goes into the book. like a swap. I kept reading every chance i got!!!

Steve- 12-16-2005

That actually sounds interesting:)

I'm reading Tales of the Slayer Vol. 1 now...I don't remember what the story in it's called (I'm at school, so I can't check), but the one with Britta the Vampire Slayer that takes place in 1923 in Germany (I think) was a freakin' amazing story. @Paige: Didn't you get Queen of the Slayers yet?

Jessie- 02-21-2006

hmm im reading Yes Man by Danny Wallace its *really* funny and actually kinda of life changing :P

Hmmm...not really reading books for school at the moment except the textbooks and my class notes as its nearly exam season and really should start some revison. At home, just read 'Others' by James Herbert (Not the film 'The Others' featuring Nicole Kidman) and after reading the Prologue and got onto the first chapter, I was so confused, I had to read the Prologue again. Was still confused but I read the rest of the book anyway, didn't get it right until the last couple of pages and the penny dropped 'Oh......that explains it!' (Please tell me I'm not the only person who does that, lol) At the moment, I'm reading Ben Elton's 'Dead Famous' its like Big Brother but someone gets murdered in front of the cameras and the police are called in to find out who did it - is very gripping, only half way through but can't wait to get to the end to see what happens.

woah was that my last post in here? ha ha well i just finished 'the tomorrow' series by John Marsden i loved it. i'm strait onto another book, I think it's called 'children on the lamp' but so far it's okay...

I'm currently reading "Tempted Champions" another Buffy book of course :) This one is about a slayer who was turned into a vampire, so it's been really intersting.

it does sound interesting Steve, I've seen that book around but never knew what it was about, should have a lok at it someday. Anyways, I've finished reading 'Dead Famous' and it was definately a good read, and when you think how it ended, you can understand where some of the clues were earlier in the book, but only small hints, so you thought nothing of them and only took what was on face value. Recommend the book completely. Going on holiday soon, so I'm going to attack my book shelf for any books I haven't read yet, one of them being 'The Lonely Bones' which I brought ages ago and stored, but now have time to read. Heard its being turned into a film, wonder how that goes because its an interesting book from the premise...but like they say 'don't judge a book by its cover.'

I don't read much outside of Buffy books (I'm a buffyverse addict), but you should def. check out "Tempted Champions".

Let's see... what am I reading? For School: "Amadeus" by Peter Shaffer (play), "Romeo and Juliet" by Bill Shakespeare (play) and "Dracula" by Bram Stoker. For... Leisure: The Fushigi Yugi Series (manga), The Model Series (manga), The Cross Series (manga), Series of Unfortunate Events (on number 8), Vampire Chronicles (for the 3rd time), The Poirot Mysteries (Agatha Christie thing). I'm pretty sure that's it... Heh. I like to multi-task. Me too. I always a bunch of books at once. (And I love manga) I'm reading: Twilight by Stephenie Meyer Spiral by Koji Suzuki Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison Death Note- manga Saiyuki-manga And I'm almost done with Tales of the Slayers vol 1
